Easy Piano Notes - Web Piano Teacher

Joshua Ross has recently completed his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at The Florida State University, where he studied with Dr. Heidi Louise Williams, and formerly studied with Dr. James Nalley. In addition to performances in the United States, he has performed and studied at the 2008 Schlern Music Festival, in Vols am Schlern, Italy. Joshua has played in master classes for renowned pianists Angela Cheng, Natsuki Fukasawa, David Northington, and Richard Cionco among others. 

Originally from Naples, Florida, Joshua is a devoted alumni of  the FSU Marching Chiefs, in which he played the saxophone and has enjoyed many high-profile engagements including the 2010 Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, and the 2011 Inauguration of Governor Rick Scott. 

Joshua is currently studying in the Master of Music program at the University of Georgia under the instruction of Dr. Martha Thomas. He has recently competed in the 2012 GMTA national competition as well as the UGA concerto competition. Joshua is also the featured pianist of the internationally acclaimed University of Georgia Wind Ensemble for the 2012-2013 performance season.

Joshua launched Easy Piano Notes with the mission of making piano available to those less fortunate or who cannot afford to pay for lessons. He believes that free online piano lessons for everyone will help those who could otherwise not learn piano any other way.
